ShockWatch, a manufacturer of safety monitoring equipment, challenged MarketSense to create a viral campaign that focused on product benefits from a customer perspective. And John Grayman was born! John is that employee who is routinely negligent or apathetic — and always seems to have an excuse when things go wrong. We ran with this concept to create an interactive site where visitors could create their own animations and submit new excuses for John. These fun activities have created a spike in traffic to the ShockWatch site, which in turn has generated more leads for the company.
